Olivia Nemec was raised in the Mountains of Washington State in a small town on the Idaho border. From an early age her grandmother, a prolific painter, began teaching her about the relationship between subject and light, and the importance of recognizing beauty in the flawed and imperfect. This influence pushed Olivia toward a career in photography.

She pursued training starting from her teen years and has received certificates from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and the London Institute of Photography. She has also acted as an assistant to several photographers across genres in the industry.

Olivia’s current work focuses on the use of light to create a painterly effect in her photos. Ranging from intimate elopements to editorial portraiture, her aim is to create an environment where her clients feel they can access a more vulnerable side of themselves.

Olivia is currently based in London
